Explanatory Notes:
- Boys are responsible for reading and understanding these regulations.
- The regulations exist because boys are representing the school when they are in uniform.
- All boys must wear regulation uniform throughout the school day. This means that correct school uniform must be worn in school, on the journey to and from school, when travelling to represent the school and at all school functions.
- If there is a problem in complying with the regulations a note, signed by a parent/guardian must be produced. Failure to do so will result in detention.
- Pupils are expected to be neat and tidy in appearance at all times while wearing the school uniform i.e. shirts tucked in, ties properly knotted, collars buttoned. Boys will be asked to tidy themselves at all times they are wearing the school uniform. Repeated or severe offences will be punished by a written imposition (the uniform/appearance regulations) or detention.
- Sanctions for non-compliance with the uniform and appearance policy will include written impositions, detention, confiscation of an offending item, isolation, being sent home or not being allowed to travel to represent the school.
