Swimming Club

Throughout the past few years, the swimming team has gradually built up a very big squad. Mr Knox now has to run 4 sessions a week to accommodate all the pupils interested in swimming. Monday and Wednesday afternoons are the two main sessions with approx 15-20 pupils attending regularly.

For the “elite” team consisting of Chris Coils, Patrick Farrell, Calum Ferguson, Jay-Dee Ferguson, Christy McLaughlin, Andrew McCullough, Conor Nicholl, Andrew Richardson and Ciaran Sloan there are also Friday and Sunday morning sessions.

The club as a whole has been very successful at the annual schools’ galas and many individual successes are witnessed. The “elite” squad has a very successful relay team which has seen many wins against top schools in the past year.
