Ski Trip 2009 - Boston, New Hampshire, USA

Mr Graham, Mr Beggs and Mr McNay took charge of 24 students and we took a 6 hour flight to reach Boston, New Hampshire. We then transferred to a two and a half hour coach trip to the resort called India Head. The hotel there was good with excellent facilities i.e. 50 inch plasma TVs in our bedrooms
There were two ski resorts nearby called Loon and Waterville Valley. This is where we travelled to our ski lessons – which we had every morning afternoon. Some students also took snow boarding lessons.
After the ski-ing lessons we had dinner in the hotel every night and the evening activities included swimming (there were indoor and outdoor swimming pools with hot tubs) and a games room. There was a film on most evenings and on New Years Eve we had a party.
This was the first time that most of us had skied in America. And everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The ski slopes were excellent and some boys displayed spectacular falls (you know who you are!) It was very cold some days with the temperature falling as low as
-25 degrees.
On our last day we went shopping at the mall before our long trip home
I would like to thank Mr Graham, Mr Beggs and Mr McNay for all their hard work organising the trip and taking care of us all. Thank you for a great ski-trip.
