Music lovers are in for a treat this month as the Londonderry Musical Society and the Britannia Band return to Coleraine with their much-loved Showstoppers musical extravaganza.
Tickets are selling fast for the popular concert to be held on Friday 13th November at Coleraine Inst. This is the 21st season of the Showstoppers series of charity concerts and the show, which has been performed to great acclaim across the Province and raised thousands of pounds for local charities, is as popular as ever.
The unique collaboration will again be under the direction of the Goodman brothers, with Ken in charge of the Band and Jim conducting the LMS. As ever, the concert will showcase the best of local musical talent and established members will be joined by new faces in the line-up.
The programme this year will include a fantastic collection of show tunes from stage and screen, featuring music from Oliver!, Grease, 42nd Street, Hairspray, The King and I, Jersey Boys and Les Miserables, to name a few.
The organisers would like to thank the City of Derry Building Society for their generous sponsorship of the event.
