Courses Available
- At C.A.I., all boys study English to GCSE level and are entered for the CCEA examination.
- English Literature (CCEA) is available at both GCSE and A level and is a very popular option.

How will I be taught?
In class you will be given opportunities to enjoy:
- Both Modern and Classic texts
- Group and pair work
- Class discussions in which all opinions are welcomed and valued
- Theatre visits for set texts and other relevant plays
- Film and audio tapes
- Presentations using ICT
- Drama-based activities, such as role-play, improvisation and hot-seating
- Debates and speeches
