Coleraine Inst. Friends’ Association
The Association represents parents, guardians and friends of Coleraine Inst. It is an integral part of the wider school community, and its purposes include
- Promoting, assisting and encouraging the School and its activities.
- Organising social functions for all friends of CAI in the school and the community.
- Raising funds to expand and enhance the school’s facilities.
Since its foundation in 2006, CIFA has organised a wide range of school and community events, raising some £15,000 to provide a wide range of equipment for use in the school. It has also assisted with the running of school events. Details of past events and functions can be accessed on this Site.

The winter Programme of events for 2008 / 2009 is as follows. Tickets and information for all events are available from the School Office and details of further events throughout the year will be added to the Website and publicised locally.
16th October 2008 Film Premiere - CIFA has booked the Movie House at the Jet Centre, Coleraine, for an exclusive premiere of “Burn after Reading”, starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt. Viewing is at 7p.m., and will be followed by drinks and canapés.
23 January 2009. CIFA Table Quiz - The venue for this popular annual event is Coleraine Rugby Club, and the Quiz Master is Brian Fillis
11 February 2009. Year 8 / 9 School Disco - Organised for the younger members of the Inst Community, this disco is for Years 8 and 9, at 7p.m. in the Humphreys Hall.
