Chess Club

This September has seen the beginning of a new club in CAI: the Junior Chess Club which meets on a Tuesday afternoon in Room 34 under the careful supervision of Mrs McKee. Numbers are small but a committed band of enthusiastic chess players meet every week from 3.30pm till 4.00pm. Some senior pupils have been given special permission to join this exclusive club as mentors. Skills range from total beginners to advanced!!

We are planning to have a tournament. We are very excited to have brand new sets of chess boards and pieces. If you are between yr 8 and yr 10 you are very welcome to join us.
