Badminton

Badminton continues to be a very popular and successful sport at CAI. The Club runs on three afternoons each week, for Year 8 pupils, Juniors and Seniors.

As well as playing for fun and fitness, we have four competitive teams who are currently participating in the Ulster Schools’ Badminton Association League and Cup Competitions. Our teams compete at the highest standard against teams from schools from all over the country, from Lisburn to Raphoe in Donegal. Other competitions such as the Champion of Champions tournament and the Year 8 “Round –robin” competition held in Ballyclare, have provided great opportunities for our players to develop match skills and experience.

The Club is open to players of all levels and welcomes all new members so come along and give it a try.
